Meet Alexa
I bring my whole self to this work. And that matters.
Hey there! I'm Alexa (She/Her) a queer lesbian therapist. I work primarily with queer, trans, and neurodivergent individuals, couples, and polycules navigating identity, relationships, and the everyday work of existing in a world that was never quite designed with you in mind.
Care that meets you where you are
Maybe you're figuring out who you are, or who you've always been. Maybe you're navigating a relationship structure that doesn't fit neatly into what most people around you understand. Maybe your brain works differently and you're tired of having to explain that, apologize for it, or work around systems that weren't built for you. Whatever brought you here, you deserve support that doesn't ask you to leave any part of yourself at the door.
I want to be a compassionate and restorative part of your support system. I look at the world through lenses of intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and queer theory, and that shapes everything about how I show up in the therapy room. I am experienced working with polyamorous and non-traditional relationship structures and welcome clients in all relationship configurations.
Built around what works for you
I practice from an integrated and collaborative approach, focusing on what works for you and noting what doesn't. I believe it takes getting to know a client to truly understand what modalities and theories will serve them best. I primarily draw from a solution-focused lens while borrowing from Emotionally Focused Therapy and Somatic approaches, adjusting based on what's actually helping. I also specialize in working with clients with ADHD and learning disabilities, and I work to make our space genuinely accessible for neurodivergent brains.
You deserve to feel supported, safe, and heard
Finding the right therapist can feel so intimidating, especially when you're not sure if they'll truly get it. I'm glad you're here. I want you to feel supported, safe, and heard throughout your therapeutic journey, regardless of your starting point or where we may go.
Ready when you are
You don't have to know where to start. Reaching out is a great first step, and we'll figure out the rest together.
