Meet Alexa

I bring my whole self to this work - and that matters.

I'm Alexa (She/Her), a neurodivergent, anti-Zionist queer lesbian therapist. I work primarily with LGBTQIA+ couples, queer and trans individuals, and neurodivergent clients navigating identity, relationships, and the everyday work of existing in a cis-heteronormative world.

Care that meets you where you are

I strive to provide compassionate care to anyone who wishes to be in therapy. Everyone is deserving of care and support throughout their lives, and I want to be a part of your support system. I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds, individuals, and couples, but as a queer person, I particularly enjoy working with queer people. I look at the world through the lens of intersectional feminism as well as anti-racism and queer theory, which is reflected in my therapeutic practice. I also hold a certificate in Gender Affirming Care in order to provide the best care that I can for all of my clients. I have experience with polyamorous and non-traditional relationship structures, and I welcome clients in all relationship configurations.

Built around what works for you

I practice from an integrated and collaborative approach, focusing on what works for you, and always noting what doesn't. I believe it takes getting to know a client to truly know what modalities and theories will work best for them, given their individual circumstances and goals within the therapeutic space. I primarily draw from a solution-focused lens while borrowing from Emotionally Focused Therapy and Somatic approaches, and I adjust based on what's actually helping. I also specialize in working with clients with ADHD and learning disabilities, and I work to make our space accessible for neurodivergent brains.

You deserve to feel supported, safe, and heard

I want you to feel, supported, safe, and heard throughout your therapeutic journey, no matter what that journey may look like. It can be difficult to even know where to begin with therapy and I invite you to reach out with any questions that you might have so that we can start working together. This process can be so intimidating and I’m glad you’re here!

Ready when you are

You don't have to know where to start. You just have to start. Reach out and we'll figure out the rest together.
